Accounting Manager

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 7 -10 years accounting experience. Applicant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. The candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principles and be proficient with Microsoft Navision accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational and management skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department and manage Treasury functions
  • Prepare and publish monthly and yearly financial reports
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits
  • Provide analysis of cash flow, operating costs and variances
  • Regularly audit and review subsidiary ledgers for reconciliation to the GL including accounts payable, inventory and accounts receivable
  • Responsible for fixed asset additions, deletions, and depreciation schedules balanced to month-end financials
  • Coordinate and direct the accounting for payroll including bonus and commissions
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reporting as required by bank, ensuring covenants are met
  • Maintain loan amortization schedules and capital lease schedules
  • Ensure adequate controls are in place, i.e. policies, procedures
  • Assist in IT initiatives
  • Assist in integration of Company acquisitions
  • Special projects as assigned to accomplish department/company goals

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required, a CPA or CMA a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ prior managerial experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area
  • Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast -pace setting. Experience with Microsoft Navision a plus. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word

Senior CAD Designer, Level III - Richmond, VA

Independently uses Autodesk CAD, 3D Modeling and PDF manipulation software to provide support to engineers, operations, salesmen, general contractors, architects and customers by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, prototypes and diagrams. Provide detailed designs to include all views, diagrams, specification information and dimensions necessary for product installation and manufacturing. Creates and maintains a database of plots and all information regarding changes/iterations to drawings. Works independently to make decisions for various project types and collaborates with salesmen, engineers or supervisor. A solid engineering skill set and knowledge of drafting principles, product design, architecture, production, fabrication techniques and familiarity with engineering and architectural standards. Requires exceptional mechanical aptitude with the ability to complete complex mathematical calculations. Accredited degree/certification in Engineering and Building Materials is preferred. Expert level in computer aided drafting, math, physics, architecture, architectural design and 3D Modeling.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

The responsibilities and duties listed below represents some of the key functions this position will perform on a regular basis,

  • Uses computer assisted design/drafting (CAD) equipment and software to develop designs for efficient installation and material optimization.
  • Possess a high level of product knowledge to independently create system designs consistent with industry requirements.
  • Utilizes knowledge of various architectural, engineering, and mathematical principles, building materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
  • Develop detailed multi-view drawings and designs of products to industry standards.
  • Draws finished designs from sketches.
  • Perform ECA changes to existing drawings as necessary.
  • Sets up and maintains an organized file system for production drawings.
  • Create conceptual designs and follow through to fabrication production designs.
  • Concentration in architectural and manufacturing drafting.
  • Provide support for component selections, specification generations, and vendor communication.
  • Work with third party vendors to incorporate necessary products and designs.
  • Draft the engineering Bill of Materials for development projects.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies relating to code of conduct.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field a plus
